- The standard procedure laid down by Government are followed in the department for decision making.

- The Department of Land Resources don't have any cadre of its own. Officers are transferred by the concerned Cadre controlling Ministries/Departments as per DoPT's precribed transfer policy for different grades/caders of employees.Apart from this,there are few ex-cadre posts which are not interchangeable.
- The Department does not have its own cadre and hence no transfer policy is available However,copies of orders under which officers/staff are posted to the Department are attached.
